Clare Groves

Hello, my name is Clare Groves and I got diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2008. I have always been involved in some sort of grass roots activism. That’s why I hooked up with ACT UP London and then Just Treatment as getting access to the medication for Hepatitis C was not readily available. So I had to fight to get it. Therefore, I wanted to use my voice for others who didn’t/don’t have a voice. I grew up in London and also spent many years living in Spain. I currently work for the NHS in adult mental health, I am also a member of a union and act as a union steward.
